Once Again I Plan And Then The Gods Correct

Mea culpa! I had hoped to simply step back and enjoy a peaceful life. Clearly, that wasn't realistic. So, I'm returning with what I believe is a better plan. If it isn't, well, I'm sure I'll be nudged back onto the path.

This blog will remain focused on our garden life. For example, this morning, in the lower pond, our bale of three rapidly growing box turtles calmly awaited their breakfast, a stark contrast to the noisy, swarming gaggle of geese.

"The View From The Cheap Seats" will continue to be my platform for political commentary, specifically my anti-fascist perspective. I call it propaganda, and I own that, because I believe it can help others recognize the perilous course humanity is on and offer alternative paths. Perhaps this is just my own conceit, but the reality I see compels me to try.
